ZOO

Today we took Lincoln to the ZOO. We had the best time EVER! It was a little hot but so great to see Lincoln's face when animals where running around. When he saw the Cheetahs he starting to "meow" it was so cute. While watching the bird show an Owl flew away :(

Hopefully it was found and is safe now

A big thanks to Anna for getting us in!

Provo Parade

Chad saved us the best seat for the Provo Parade. We had such a fun time with some friends from Chad's work. A few of my family members came down too :) Lincoln loved the Parade!!

Yeah!!! Wendi came...

We love cousin Rachel :)

Watching the Fire Trucks

Hot Air Balloons

My mom and I rounded up the troops(Rachel,Colby,Owen,Anna,Aunt K) to see the Hot Air Balloons EARLY in the morning on Saturday July 2nd. They where so much fun! It was Colby and Lincoln's 1st time to see the balloons up close. They where so fun to see and watch blow up and take off. I have grown up doing this with my mom and cousins and it is something I wanted to start doing with my little family. After we saw them take off we went and had a yummy breakfast @ Kneaders. As we where leaving breakfast Lincoln was running and fell and has a HUGE piece of skin missing off his nose :( so so sad. He cried and cried.... But he seems to be fine now. Rach and Owen came over to swim for a few hours.

After swimming Chad and I went to Stadium of Fire, OMG it was the best time. A dear friend invited us to dinner and the show! It was so fun, i just loved ALL of it. I am so grateful to be an American and live in this wonderful Country

Swimmin with Dada

WE have been out at the pool every chance we get! Lincoln is starting to love the pool.

Funny

I think the the "Diaper Jeans" are a crack up!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy/hubby in the world!

As you can tell Lincoln was not in the mood for a Photo shoot :)

Before and After

{-----AFTER

Before

Our balcony SUCKS! Lincoln was throwing stuff of the railing and such. So we put up some netting. Than it had 0 shade so we found these umbrella's and with a few zip ties we now have this fancy place for Lincoln to play. Soft, some shade and safe :) We are really happy how it turned out! Thanks to my parents for helping us finish this up!

Beautiful Sunday SuNnY morning

17 months Lincoln Chad Zimmerman

All grown UP!!

He is loves trying to feed himself,

And the JAMBA juice kids sippies are the BEST ever!

For once something really does not leak

We have a love/hate relationship with swimming

I know this kind of swim lesson's is not something that everyone agrees with and that is ok because I LOVE it!! Lincoln now has the skill of rising to the top of the pool and go straight to his back to float all by himself. The chances of him ever drowning are slim. (I know about the What ifs) But my little guy will be very safe this summer in the pool. And that type of feeling is PRICELESS for me. He fusses the whole lesson but still has great success every week. He can easily float for over a minute and has almost mastered getting from his back than to the side of the pool, turning over and holding on. I am so proud of him and how well he is doing. I am excited for the summer
and all the relaxing pool days to come.

FACTS:

*An average of 9 people die drowning per day
*19% of drowning deaths involve children occur in a public pool with lifeguards present

*70% of preschoolers who drown are usually in the care of BOTH parents

"UP"

Over the weekend Chad recorded "UP" and played it for Lincoln. Well needless to say it is now his favorite movie and points at the TV until we put it on. The last 2 days my child is once again running a temperature 102-105. So today he has been laying around not doing much of anything. This is him now. This is how I know he is sick. The funny thing is he has no other symptoms runny nose, coughing.. ect... I think it is teeth. Even though they(doctors) say teeth don't cause a temp to be that high I see one of his teeth breaking though. So I am pretty sure its his tooth. I feel so bad for him.
