Our Last day

This was our last day in Paris. We woke up to snow and it soon turned to rain. We walked around and got some yummy food. This was the most amazing trip. We had the best time ever in Paris and are so grateful for our family who took the best care of us while there. Our view from the window was looking at the Tour Eiffel. It was PERFECT!!! I ate enough bread to last me a life time and loved every second of it. We walked till our legs feel off and finally got used to the time change the night before we left. We are still trying to get back on Utah time to this day.

Louvre and Lunch with friends and Fam

Chad and I woke up early to see Mona Lisa. It was so busy and so hard to even get around the Louvre. After we had Marie-Do and Geo over for lunch and the Patterson's. It was a blast!! After lunch we went back to the Louvre to take some fun pictures. The one in front of a wood door is the Patterson's apt door. We where at a Metro stop so it made it so easy to get around.

Chartre and dinner with friends

We went to a town called Chartre and did a tour of the church that is a twin to Notre Dame. After we got back to the city we went to dinner with Marie-Do, Geo & Ben... Well and snook. We had a long freezing cold day. After dinner we went to Ach de Triomphe and Tour Eiffel.

Ste Chapelle & Notre Dame

Best day ever!!! This day we went to Ste Chapelle first and saw all the stain glass. After we walked to Notre Dame and went inside and than to the top where the Hunch Back lives..(hehehe) It was over 400 steps in a small windy stairwell. But it was worth every step. I love going to the top of Notre Dame by far. Chad saw a cop car and had to have his pic takin by it. This old lady was begging for money in French out front to us and started shouting at us since we would not give her money, she was so scary.

Train Strike

So this day we had to stay close to home. The train workers went on strike and so the metro and trains where a mess plus the thousands of people demonstrating in the streets. So we went to the top of the Tour Eiffel and walked all around close to the apt with Drew and Kate. I bought some souvenir's and Chad and Drew took there pic's with the Cop guys(whatever they are called) It was a day with lots of sun so it was perfect to go to the top.

Versailles

We took the train out to Versailles. We loved this place and all the history. We spent most of the day here walking all over seeing the gardens and Marie Antoinette's place. It was so amazing. We walked and walked and walked this day and our legs almost fell off

Days 1,2 & 3

Our first few days we did alot. First stop was to Trocadero to get some great pic's of the Tour Eiffel. After that we met up with Ryan and Andrea to have some dinner in the Latin Quarter, Chad ate Escargot... So sick. We went to church and hung out day two and day 3 went to Sacre Coeur and Arc de Triomphe. Every hour on the hour the Tour Eiffel twinkles and it is the most beautiful thing ever. Another night we went with the fam to Angelina's for some good old hot coco. To tell you the truth we did not like it one bit, Kate almost threw it up it was so gross.
